Classes are Wednesday evenings - 6:30pm - 7:45pm out of our studio

Is Restorative Yoga good for weight loss?Restorative Yoga will reduce stress, anxiety and depression, improving sleep and overall quality of life and it alleviates symptoms of chronic pain, improving strength, flexibility, balance and concentration. As a consequence it will be good for weight loss, as the body will heal from the inside out.

Is Restorative Yoga good for back pain?Yes, restorative yoga focus on slow movements, deep breathing, stretching the body to calm the nervous system thereby promoting relaxation, better sleep, better mood and it will reduce pain in the body, including back pain.

Is Restorative Yoga safe during pregnancy?Restorative Yoga is gentle on the body, and it is safe to practice during pregnancy as long as you modify some positions, and movements to accommodate the growing belly. We do have pregnancy yoga classes, that will focus on movements and breath work that are specific for pregnancy and will help with labor and delivery.

How does Restorative Yoga work?Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice, that holds poses (asanas) for longer using props like: yoga blocks, blankets, bolsters, if needed to support the postures. In our classes we also practice self massage and we work with the Energies of the body.
